November/December 2022

Sophia has been cast in a principal role in a new film by Loren Haigh about the real life struggles and losses of the Covid-19 Pandemic. The film is called, HOPE, and is produced by Seraphic Productions. Filming begins October, 2022 in Birmingham, UK.

August 2022

Sophia will be playing Ophelia and Tybalt in the Shakespeare Theatrical Universe (60 Hour Shakespeare) double feature show, Ophelia and Mercutio, at the Abbey Ruins in Reading mid August, as well as being Fight Choreographer for STU production of As You Like It in Royal Leamington Spa later in the month.

December 2021 & April/May 2022.

Sophia will be working as Movement Director and Fight Choreographer for the upcoming Stage Five Theatre Company production of Shakespeare's Macbeth, at the beautiful Willow Globe Theatre in Wales.

September to December 2021

Sophia will be working as choreographer for the upcoming December production of CHICAGO the Musical for Christ's Hospital School in Horsham. ​This production will be newly choreographed, but will take great inspiration from the original Bob Fosse/Ann Reinking masterpieces.

March 2021

Sophia was a Dancer, Writer, and an Assistant Director for London Climate Change Festival's inaugural concert, Song For Nature, performed at the London Coliseum with the English National Opera Orchestra and broadcast by SkyArts on Earth Day 2021. The concert was produced by Janie Dee, directed by Dominic Dromgoole and Bill Buckhurst, musically directed by Stephen Higgins, and hosted the talents of David Suchet, Brian May, Janie Dee, Kerry Ellis, Hal Cazalet, Danielle de Niese, Michelle Terry, Marcelino Sambe, Rob Brydon, and London Voices, among others.

​Sophia wrote and performed in an environment themed parody of John Kander and Fred Ebb's Cabaret piece, Mein Herr, re-titled, Mine Here.

March 2021

In March, Sophia launched her own theatre company/artist collective: Truth B/tOLD Ensemble (click logo) as a platform for performing artists who lost work during the Covid-19 pandemic to continue to create, collaborate and perform without the confines of time, space, and proximity.

​Their first collaborative project is the original sonnet, But One Is Enough.

February to May 2021

Sophia has joined the creative team of 60 Hour Shakespeare Company's production of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night as Movement Director, along Directors Gavin Leigh and Michael Corbidge (Royal Shakespeare Company). She is also playing the role of Olivia, channeling her inner Daisy Buchanan and natural southern United States origins in this 1920s Gatsby inspired production. Rehearsals begin 7th of February.

December 2020

Sophia will be playing Belle in Virtual Space Theatre's online production of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol. Proceeds from this production will go to support The Salvation Army. November 2020

Sophia collaborated with Director Emma Gersch in writing and producing an original short film, Always Alice; a film promoting mental health awareness. This film was given Honorable Mention in the 2021 Vienna International Film Awards.

August 2020

Sophia has just been cast in the upcoming charity performance of Shakespeare's Richard II, with 60 Hour Shakespeare Company, as the passionate and nearly treasonous Duke (Duchess) of Aumerle, son of York. Richard II is the first play in Shakespeare's Major Tetralogy concerning the War of the Roses and Tudor dynasty lineage and is fraught with quests for power, treasonous liaisons, and divisions of loyalty.
​This production is in association with, and in aid of the theatrical charity, 'Acting for Others' (click image) seeking to help theatre workers during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

January to May 2020

Sophia is currently rehearsing for the UK tour of The Great Fire of London! with Trunk Theatre (www.trunktheatre.com). A new, child friendly comedy about this historic disaster of 1666. Written by Joe Potter, founder and director of Trunk Theatre. This is a two person play in which Sophia plays the role of 'Woman' ...who switches quickly between the personalities of Mrs. Tom Farriner (baker's wife), King Charles II, a cockney maid, an English peasant, and a French woman 'of ill repute'... all with the change of a prop. Opening performance is set for 23rd of February.

​From March, this tour has been postponed due to Covid-19.

October to December 2019

Sophia is currently rehearsing for the immersive dining experience, Goodsuppas, in the West End (Proud Embankment Cabaret). Based on the 1990 Scorsese film, Goodfellas, this show centers around the corruption of the Italian mafia in NYC in the 1950s-70s. This is an ensemble piece and follows a fast paced and powerful story line, and improv interaction with audience members in the round. Sophia plays Henry Hill's mistress, Janice Rossi. October saw the release of the Official Music Video of 'Tropical'' by Indie Rock band LUNA BLUE (www.lunablueofficial.com)
Sophia plays the Femme Fatale, and also choreographed the piece.

August 2019

Sophia is joining the cast of ASHES, a play by Magdalena Stefanni, for its second London run at Teatro Technis, as part of the Camden Fringe 2019. Sophia will be playing the role of Elenore as well as stepping in as fight and movement coordinator. The show runs 13th-15th August at 9:00pm. Tix available at: theatrotechnis.com/production/ashes

May to June 2019

Sophia is currently working with the actors, directors, and playwrights of Sparks Theatre Collective to bring several new plays to life for the 2019 Stoke Newington Literary Festival, 7th-9th of June. She will be directing and performing in, a new spoken word ensemble piece, Blueprints, written by Emma Jarvis based on the e. e. cummings poem, "[i carry your heart with me(I carry it in]". The play will be staged in The Chapel and surrounding cemetery of Abney Park in Stoke Newington (abneypark.org/heritage).

April to August 2019

From April to June Sophia will be co-directing a new comedy play by Benjamin Alborough (benjaminalborough.com) with Olivia Rose Deane (twitter.com/oliviarosedeane). Ricky Riddlegang and the Riddle Gang  is a hilarious "Scooby-Doo-ish mystery spoof" and will play at the New Wimbledon Theatre 9th-11th May and at the Brighton Fringe 28th May- 2nd June before heading to Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August.

March 2019

Sophia just finished a performance excerpt of NOISE​, a new work by Freya Storch (www.freyastorch.com) which played as part of the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama BA Performance Arts showcase: FUSS! on 12th March, 2019 at The Others (Stoke Newington). Sophia was Fight Coordinator for this performance and played the role of Gatekeeper (inflictor of violence in interrogation scene).

October 2018

Sophia was most recently seen in the Page to Stage Festival performance at London's Arcola Theatre on 7th of October, which showcased new writing devised for the Page the Stage programme, and hosted by the Arcola, in collaboration with producing artist, Rebecca Jones. This programme is also part of the Arcola Theatre's Consenting Adults training programme. September 2018

Sophia is currently in rehearsal for a new collaborative Ensemble work, Serious Says in Funny Ways, directed by internationally acclaimed and award winning director, Evi Stamatiou (www.evistamatiou.com). The upcoming performance will be at The Yard Theatre (Hackney), 9th of September at 7:00pm and will tackle serious social and political topics in a light hearted way, employing comedic techniques derived from various schools of thought, including Complicité and Commedia Dell'Arte .

May 2018

She was most recently seen as practical, whisky drinking side kick, Yevdokiya, at London’s Embassy Theatre in the world premiere of, The Twelve Chairs; an original musical adaptation of the 1928 Ilf and Petrov Soviet novel, Original score and book by David Merriman, stage direction by Simon Greiff, and musical direction by Julian Kelly. Sophia was also Fight and Movement Captain for this production.

February 2018

Seen as Katherine Dyson, the historical mistress and persecutor of infamous Victorian con man Charlie Peace, in the London premiere of Michael Eaton's, Charlie Peace: His Amazing Life and Astounding Legend. Performed in the Webber Douglas Studio Theatre with an original score by Paul Barker, stage direction by Martin Berry, and choreography by Steve Elias.
